They call April "National Poetry Month," and in honor of that goodness, we are doing a special all-poets lineup for this month's EIB. Six poets to be exact. Six of the raddest poets we know--Martin Rock! Emily Bludworth de Barrios! Amanda Johnston! Lesser Gonzalez Alvarez! Austin Rodenbiker! Sarah Janczak! What a way to spend a Sunday.

Mi Casa Es Su Teatro

Mi Casa Es Su Teatro is the part of FronteraFest that features live performances in Austin homes. It's a unique part of the festival, and over the years, wild and wonderful work has been produced as a part of Mi Casa. This year's Mi Casa Es Su Teatro will be Saturday, February 6th, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. It will be in three houses and a park on the east side, off of Springdale in the Oak Springs neighborhood (all within walking distance from one another).

An Invitation to Sleep Opening Reception

“An Invitation to Sleep” is a Hearsay & Hyperbole experience which will be installed in Salvage Vanguard Theater's gallery in Austin, Texas December 29 2015-January 1st 2016.

There will be an opening reception and performance of Dream Songs by Alexis Powell, Annie SichermanAux AuxPastel Mountain, and Tapestry/Loose Threads along with poems from Sarah Janczak.
